Hummer H3 Adventure

Here is a picture of my very own 2006 Hummer H3 Adventure stuck in the mud at the Badlands Offroad Park in Attica, Indiana. If you like this photo, you can check out my H3Adventure.com website for more great photos like this one.

Tiger Under Water

Most cats hate water, but tigers are the exception to the rule. This pic shows just how menacing a tiger can be even we it is totally submersed. As usually, click on the post's title to see the picture in original context, including more awesome tiger pictures.

Naked Tree

Here is a cool picture that I came across of a tree that resembles a naked woman. I have no idea if the image is real or "PhotoShopped". But, in many years of hiking I have come across many oddly shaped trees and rock formations, so I tend to think this may be real.

Whale Tale

An Australian kite surfer noticed a large shadow in the water. He simply thought it was the shadow from his kite, until the whale's tale smacked him in the back of the head. An overhead camera mounted to his kite caught this awesome image.

Prehistoric Frill Shark - Live

Frill sharks are rarely seen with human eyes, as they typically live in the ocean thousands of feet below the surface where it is very cold. In fact, they were thought to be extinct until one was found in shallow water in 2007 off the coast of Japan. In addition to being very rare, they are also noteable because the have six gills instead of the typical five found in most shark species. This rare specimen died just a few hours after it was discovered, which is perhaps why it was so close to the surface.

Volcano Erupting During Lightning Storm

This photo is definitely one of the coolest looking, naturally occurring phenomon I have ever seen. It shows the Chaiten volcano errupting during a storm.
